On Monday, we took the girls to Old Town, San Diego. They loved walking around and seeing all the 'old' stuff. They dipped candles in the candle shop. They looked at old money in the Wells Fargo Building, and we walked up to the Mormon Battalion Post.
On the tour at the Mormon Battalion Site, Kat got to dress up as one of the soldiers - I think she looked great & loved it!
The girls got to pan for 'gold' at the Battalion site. They thought that was pretty cool!
Daddy even got in on the action!
They even had oldie pictures! Sweet!
(Em wouldn't cooperate and Lucy was asleep, so Kat and I got our pic together!)
Up on top of the site. You could see out around all of San Diego. Pretty Neat!
Walkin' back down to the main street in Old Town
Next we went and ate at a Mexican Restaurant that I have wanted to try for a long time. It was featured on Diners, Drive-In's and Dives. We got a whole bunch of different things to try and ate 'family style'. Kat loved the street tacos (minus the onion). Emma loved the nachos (plain chips with cheese!). Daddy loved the quesedillas, and Mommy loved it all! Unfortunately, Lucy was a little sick and screamed the whole time we were in the restaurant. So Dad and Mom took turns taking her out and walking with her. I would totally go back and hopefully we could all eat together! :)

After Old Town, we went back to the beach!!!
The girls got soaked in the waves but had so much fun! They collected a ton of shells and loved the sand! We can not wait to go back!
