Miss Roy Pageant

Our afternoon and night in Utah was filled with a Tea Party and the Miss Roy Pageant.
My mom, our friends and I have been going to the Miss Roy Pageant for more than 15 years now.  We have made it an annual tradition.  (Ok, I have missed the past two years because I live too far away, but that made this year even more exciting!)  As new little girls have been added to the mix we have made a new tradition of having a Tea Party before the pageant.  Neighbors, family, and friends are invited to bring their little girls to the Tea Party, even if they aren't going to attend the pageant afterwards.  The little ones love it!
This year the littles made Mad Hatter Hats.  They turned out so cute and the girls had lots of fun decorating their hats!

All the girls that came to the Tea Party!

At the Miss Roy Pageant!

The AC wasn't working at the school and so it was soooo hot!  Plus, there were 16 girls competing which meant it was long and hot!  But all of the little girls did great and had lots of fun!

It was a long day and a late night, but we had lots of fun!  Thanks mom for having a great Tea Party and taking us to the Pageant!  It is a fun tradition that the girls look forward to every year!
