Lucy turned one year old! I can't believe it! A year ago we were in the hospital welcoming her into our family and now she is a 'big' girl! She is so special to us.
She is the happiest baby I have ever been around! Everyone comments on that. She is always smiling and only fusses if she really needs something.
Mommy and Daddy were talking the other day, and we notice how she is a peacemaker with the older girls. She is always 'sharing' and if they are yelling at each other or fighting, she will start to fuss until they stop.
She is walking everywhere now. I call it the mummy walk because she puts her arms out and is still a little unsteady on her feet. So cute! She only has two teeth on the bottom right now, but there are some on top that are ready to come through.
Lucy loves playing and everything is a phone to her. She loves talking on the phone, I guess! :)
We have started giving her whole milk, which she tolerates, but prefers her formula. We will slowly win that battle!
Happy Birthday LUCY! We love you!
Lucy wasn't quite sure what to do with the packages we put in front of her. But by the end, she was helping daddy open up the presents! She was excited for some new outfits from Grandma and Grandpa Wilson and wanted to put them on!
Kat and Emma got her a new princesss baby doll and stroller to play with. She loves it and has been pushing it around all day!
The Wilson side of the family called and sang to Lucy. At first she wasn't sure about it.
Then she started singing along with them.
Then she was looking around to us, like "Can you hear this? They are singing to me!" She is so silly!
Mommy snuggle time while daddy got Lucy's cupcake ready!
I guess this is her 'cheee' smile! :)
Singing Time!
"What's This?"
Time for Cake!
Lucy wasn't sure about the cupcake at first, but after she tasted the frosting she was hooked! She dove right in and made a HUGE mess! Her face and chest was stained orange for a couple of days! :)
Happy Happy Birthday to our big 1 year old!
