The past couple of weeks we have been struggling with Emma. It started at school one day when she just started sobbing at drop off. The night before she hadn't slept very well, so I figured she was just really tired and maybe didn't feel good. Her teacher called about 45 minutes later saying she was still crying, so I went and picked her up. The next school day she said she didn't feel good and wanted to stay home. This coming from a child who loves school and all of her friends and fun at school! I figured she really didn't fell well (again) and let her stay home.
Since then, she sobs all the way to school and the teacher has to physically take Em out of the car and walk her up. Usually Em jumps out of the car and runs in to the school without so much as a wave to me!
The past two weeks of church she has done the same thing with Primary! She starts sobbing when it is time to go to class and it breaks my heart.
I don't know what is going on with our little Emma! Mat keeps asking what is going on in her head and I have no idea! I can only guess that maybe she is having issues before the baby comes. Also, we are trying to find a new house and maybe moving is also concerning her and freaking her out a little?!? I don't know.
It makes me feel so sad to have to drop her off while she is crying, but I know next year when she goes to Kindergarten that it will be harder if we give in now. I hope it is the right thing to make her go even if she doesn't want to. It's just life, right?
Well, that is my rant for the day. :)
