Christmas Morning!

Christmas Morning!!!

Mommy got up first on Christmas morning (because I set the alarm for 7am!  We had a schedule to keep since we had to call G&G Wilson and get ready for church!)  I had to go and wake everyone up!  Silly girls were too tired, I guess!  The girls got up and then we told them to go wake Grandma and Grandpa up!  The knocked on the door and yelled 'Merry Christmas!"

While we waited for G&G to come out, the girls got to see what treats Santa had left them.  Then, they finally got to rip into presents!

 Lucy had a fun time watching everyone and trying to eat tissue paper! 

 Emma got a cute new outfit, a Belle doll, a new hat and boots from Santa.

 Kat also got a new hat (see pictures!), new boots, a movie, a few new outfits, and lots of treats.

The girls 'big' present from mom and dad was Year Passes to Sea World.  We filled boxes up with a bunch of plastic sea animals and taped a certificate to the bottom of the box.  When they opened the boxes all they saw was tissue paper and plastic animals.  It was quite funny!  Emma was just happy to have so many new little creatures for the bath, I guess.  Kat on the other hand was less than impressed, until she realized there was more to the present.  She finally got to the bottom of the box and then was super excited!

After we opened all the presents we Skyped G&G Wilson.  We got them a web cam fro Christmas as a surprise so we could see them and they could see the girls open the presents from them.  It was a fun surprise to see them and for the girls to open their presents while they watched.

 After all the presents were opened, we had a yummy breakfast.  I let the girls each pick one thing they really wanted for me to make.  Kat picked sausage, Emma picked pancakes.  Daddy added in scrambled eggs and Grandpa made potatoes pancakes.  It was a yummy, warm breakfast!  Then we had to hurry and get ready to make it to church on time.  We only had Sacrament meeting, but it was a nice program full of lots of singing Christmas hymns.  I think it was a great thing to have church on Christmas.  It made it more special and meaningful to me; even if it was a little rushed to get there!
