I asked the girls to pick one thing they wanted to do as their last 'fun' thing before school started. They both said Chuck E Cheese. Easy enough, one thing instead of two! :)
So, on the Friday before school started we headed to Chuck E Cheese. Kat invited her friend Gracee to come with us (later that day they swapped and Kat went swimming with Gracee and her family).
I decided to split $20 between the three of them (I got bonus coins for doing it that way!) which gave them a ton of tokens! Kathryn blew most of hers within about 5 minutes on the games that you roll your coin in and try to bump the others off to get lots of tickets. You know the ones? The ones that are a waste of money because no one ever gets them to fall? Ya, Kat used probably a good $5 on that game! I was upset at her, but Gracee said she would share her tokens with Kat. What a nice friend!
After that, the girls had a blast running around and playing games. Somehow it lasted more than two hours!
Chuck E Cheese came out and if you followed him and danced you got bonus tickets! Emma was afraid of him, but Kat and Gracee (reluctantly, because they were the oldest ones there) followed him and each got a handful of tickets! I teased them that I was going to post it on FaceBook!
This is how Lucy spent the first half! Then she woke up and was fascinated by all of the lights and sounds.
